Nature has always been a great inspiration to artists, from pre-historic cave painters to contemporary artists working today. Art Club meets every other month, providing a safe space to meet with other artists of all abilities in a welcoming community. At each meeting we will discuss different topics and offer nature inspired themes to inspire your creativity, while letting you work at your own pace. Beginners and experienced artists are welcome to attend.

In July, we’ll take a short hike to Mystery Lake and observe the flora and fauna. After the hike you can find what inspires you the most to create your art.

Your guide is Shelly Rollins, Education Specialist at Schlitz Audubon with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Please bring your own sketchbook and art supplies. Some general supplies may be available as well as handouts related to the theme. If there is inclement weather, we will stay inside for the entire program.

Free to all. Optional donation supports habitat preservation at the Center. Registration required.
