All About Monarchs!

Sunday, September 10, 2023 | 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

$10.00 – $15.00

The monarch migration is now underway! Weighing no more than a paperclip, monarchs migrate all the way from Milwaukee to Mexico! Come join Naturalist Aubrey Fulsaas for a fun afternoon of hiking and citizen science. Learn about the life cycle and migration of monarchs and see how important habitats, like ours at Schlitz Audubon, are vital for these butterflies. We will venture out with nets and tags to participate in an international monarch migration study.

This program is designed for children aged 4 and older; children must be accompanied by an adult. This program will take place entirely outdoors. In case of inclement weather, the program will be rescheduled to Sunday, September 17th.

Members: $10 per person | Non-members: $15 per person
