Sound Waves Winter Concert Series

Sundays, January 14 – February 18 | 3:30pm – 4:30pm

Bring the whole family to hear Milwaukee musicians live on six Sunday afternoons this winter! Listen to pleasant music while enjoying beverages available for purchase at the Center. Performances take place in our auditorium from 3:30pm-4:30pm and are free with membership or admission.  


Hear the vulnerable storytelling and compelling rhythms that are at the heart of Jorge Vallentine’s distinctive and family-friendly indie folk sound. He layers dark and brooding indie rock effects behind a bright and percussive acoustic guitar, freely transforming from singer-songwriter to folk punk to one-man-band. January 21 | ROXIE BEANE  

Roxie plays an array of family and radio friendly acoustic covers, including pop, rock, alternative, and soul genres spanning multiple decades in a style she’s labeled “Acoustic Funk Rock.” Learn more about Roxie Beane

February 11 | JULIEN KOZAK

February 18 | THE UKULADIES

Composed of a group of 30 local performers, The Ukuladies’ musical selections are an eclectic mix ranging from old favorites, light classical, Broadway, to contemporary tunes. This family-friendly performance includes something for everyone.
