Support Schlitz Audubon Nature Center
“Nature is the one place where miracles not only happen, but happen all the time.”
Understanding nature and all it has to offer is an enriching experience. Our Center’s 185-acre outdoor classroom and dedicated educators are committed to connecting all of our visitors with nature. However, none of this would be possible without your help – our donors. Contributions from individuals, foundations and corporations provide year-round programs for children and adults. Among the thousands of students who take part in our numerous programs, many of them are from underprivileged areas of Milwaukee. This may be the first time they see Lake Michigan, come in contact with an expansive forest, or experience the joy of catching a frog in one of our many ponds. We’ve been known to shape an individual’s aspirations for the future.
Thank you for considering a donation
Each year, over 145,000 individuals visit the Center, which includes nearly 27,000 children who participate in our natural science programs. In addition, 142 preschoolers are enrolled throughout the year in our nationally recognized nature preschool.
Your support is vital to Schlitz Audubon Nature Center, for your donation will help maintain the 185-acre nature preserve and help us to continue to teach quality educational classes, which include programs with our live birds of prey.
