Schlitz Audubon Natures Hall Pass

After School

We bring a little bit of nature to your school! Programs include a variety of games, activities, live animal ambassadors, and other fun ways to stimulate learning and curiosity. Naturalists from the Center arrive with supplies and equipment specific to each program. Programs are not weather-dependent, are designed to work at any school, and are perfect for locations that have little or no access to nature.

  • Programs are 1 hour following the school day, available Monday-Thursday, and can be adapted for grades K4-8.
  • Up to 30 students $100 ($5 per extra student up to 45 students) | 45-60 students $200.

Program Options

Birding with Schlitz Audubon

Through various activities, students explore the world of our feathered friends. Students will be able to touch artifacts from birds and discover the differences among various types of birds. They will learn about what makes these creatures unique.

Crawling Critters

We bring live insects to show students the different varieties of these amazing creatures. They participate in hands-on activities to familiarize themselves with what makes an insect an insect. Students will become amateur entomologists by the end of this program.

Mammals of Wisconsin

Learn about our close cousins in the animal world by playing games, touching furs and skulls, and learning calls. Through this program, each student will discover a broader range of native Wisconsin mammals!

Reptiles and Amphibians

Students discover native reptiles and amphibians from Wisconsin. A variety of reptiles and amphibians will be brought for students to meet up close and personal! Games and artifacts will help to expand their world.

World O’ Water

Flow like water in this program. Students will play a fun game mimicking the water cycle and learn where it came from and where it’s going. After this program, students will know the ways in which they can conserve water and clean up the water cycle.

Our after school programs bring nature to your school!
