Schlitz Audubon Tours

Group Tours

Schlitz Audubon tours welcome larger groups to explore our Nature Center. Day care centers, senior groups, and other clubs and organizations visit here on a regular basis. If you are looking to schedule a group visit to Schlitz Audubon, please see the following options:

Self-Guided Tours

This is our most versatile and common option for groups big and small. Your group can explore our grounds at your leisure, spending as little or as much time at your preferred locations. Admission is $8 per adult, $5 per youth, and $5 for active duty or veteran service members. If your group is composed mostly of youth guests, we offer one adult free for every five youths. Cancelling or rescheduling can be done easily and free of charge.

Guided Schlitz Audubon Tours

If you are looking for a bit more structure in your group’s visit, consider a guided Schlitz Audubon tour. One or more of our trained naturalist educators will lead your group on a 90-minute tour of our grounds, targeting the tour toward the ages and interests of your group. The cost for guided tours is $12 per adult, $8 per youth, and $8 for active duty or veteran service members. Please note that our Guided Tour availability is very limited due to scheduling and seasonal considerations.

Looking to add even more educational components to your Schlitz Audubon tour? Consider booking one of the following 30-minute add-ons (both options are subject to staff and facility availability).

Raptor Encounter

Meet up to three of the birds in our Raptor Program and learn about their species and individual stories. Price is dependent on bird selection but ranges from $150 – $250.

Reptile & Amphibian Encounter

Meet some of the Center’s Reptile and Amphibian ambassadors including snakes, turtles, toads, and salamanders. Groups are able to get up close and have the choice to touch and hold certain animals. Fee is $150.

Please contact our Registrar at registration@schlitzaudubon.org to schedule a group tour.
