$17.00 – $23.00The Lake Michigan shoreline hosts a myriad of captivating rocks and some very unique fossil specimens. Identification of these fossils is an acquired skill that we can help you learn. The geologic time period dates to Wisconsin’s Silurian and Devonian past. We will uncover what exactly these periods entailed as we practice indoors with our preserved collection and then hike to the lakefront as we search for visible remains on a beach investigation. Well over a dozen of these aquatic species that called Wisconsin home 400 million years ago can be discovered. Join School Programs Manager and fossil hunter AJ Grill for this course.
