Twilight Hike

As the sun goes down, experience the Center in a different light! Join us for a guided hike on our trails in search of crepuscular and nocturnal wildlife. While we visit different habitats, we learn about our resident and migratory animals: how to identify them by sight, sound, or the signs they leave behind. We’ll also encounter the Center’s diverse plant life. This perspective on animal behavior and ecology will expand your understanding of local wildlife.  

This time of year delights the senses with summer transitioning into fall. We’ll look for migrating birds visiting our stopover site, the changes in our ponds, and monarchs in the prairie.
