Twilight Hike

As the sun goes down, experience the Center in a different light! Join us for a guided hike on our trails in search of crepuscular and nocturnal wildlife. While we visit different habitats, learn about our resident and migratory animals: how to identify them by sight, sound, or the signs they leave behind. We’ll also encounter the Center’s diverse plant life. This perspective on animal behavior and ecology will expand your understanding of local wildlife.   

On this hike, we’ll search for owls around the South Ravine and explore wildlife at Mystery Lake. We may also hike to our 60-foot observation tower to do some stargazing and look for bats.  

Your guide for the evening is Naturalist Laine Cotteleer, an experienced nature investigator who loves sharing her knowledge about night animals.
