The Magic of Metamorphosis: Ponds

Celebrate the summer solstice and the changing seasons by learning about the magic of metamorphosis! Join Naturalist Emily Leonard to explore the ponds at Schlitz Audubon. Discover how tadpoles become frogs, how baby salamanders use their mane-like gills, and more! Through guided hikes and hands-on activities, we will search for resident wildlife in the Center’s ponds, learn about their various life stages, and discuss the wonders and importance of their magical transformation.

This program is designed for children aged 4 and older. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

This program will take place entirely outdoors. Please read our current mask policy before participation.

Members: $10 per person | Non-members: $15 per person
