The Amazing Webb Telescope

Tuesday, May 9, 2023 | 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

$15.00 – $20.00

,

Who was James Webb and what can this amazing new telescope do? Different than Hubble, this telescope sees in the infra-red spectrum. Explore the struggles and triumphs of this new era in space exploration. And yes, the pictures are stunning.

Presenter Kathy Brehmer is a longtime Schlitz Audubon volunteer. She has a 40 plus year fascination with astronomy, space flight and the cosmos. She returned to college as an adult, studying physics, astronomy, and mathematics, and that passion remains. She has taught astronomy classes at Schlitz Audubon and previously for UWM’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute.

Members: $15 | Non-members: $20
