Tuesdays, January 21 – March 31
This course introduces the basic principles and practices of Cheng Man Ching’s Yang style taijiquan. Each class consists of stillness, slow mindful movement, and loosening exercises, primarily “swinging limbs” and spinal stretches. The class can serve as a wonderful addition to one’s week, or can lead to daily practice and a lifetime of taijiquan study.
Jack Lavin began his study of taijiquan in 2007 at the Tai Chi Center of Milwaukee, and since then has been a dedicated daily practitioner. He has had the good fortune to study with long-time practitioners of the Cheng Man Ching lineage both here in the US and in Taiwan.
This session will not take place. Please look for Tai Chi programs in spring.
