Sundays July 7 & 14
We all enjoy the cool refuge of shade that our trees offer in the summer, but how do you know what kind of tree you’re standing under? What makes trees different and what does that mean for wildlife? Discover the answer to these questions and more as we learn to identify different tree species using their leaves, flowers, and fruit, along with their bark and growth patterns. We’ll discover which families are most dominant at the Center and where they grow best, and discuss the ecological significance of each species. Join Naturalist Tess Carr for two consecutive Sundays to observe trees in multiple habitats around the Center.
Fee covers both sessions.
