Summer Astronomy with Binoculars

Monday, August 17, 2020 | 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm

$15 – $20
Sold out

Jim Hahn will guide us on a tour of the spyglass menagerie found in the night sky of summer. A swan, scorpion, eagle, and a dolphin are some of the creatures we will discover in the stars. Each of them conceals gems that are revealed by your binoculars. All you have to do is look in the right places! Bring warm clothes, binoculars, mosquito repellent, and a reclining lawn chair, as the Center will not provide these items. We will meet in the Preschool Parking Lot.

This program will take place entirely outdoors. We will practice social distancing when we are able to, but because of the nature of small-group programming, it will not always be possible. For the health and safety of all, participants must wear a mask when you are within six feet of others. Please do not attend if you are sick or believe you have been exposed to the virus. See our latest COVID-19 updates here.

Member: $15 | Non-Member: $20
