Join us for a spring day of beach exploration where we will search for rocks of all colors and kinds, beautiful driftwood, and signs of life in the lake. We may even find some beach glass to take home! Families will have the opportunity to explore the beach freely with a naturalist guide. We’ll learn about some of the unique finds we have on our Lake Michigan beach and how they get there. Families can also take this opportunity to keep our beach, and ultimately our drinking water, healthy by removing plastic and litter when we find it!
This program will take place entirely outdoors. We will practice social distancing when we are able to, but because of the nature of small-group programming, it will not always be possible. For the health and safety of all, participants must wear a mask when you are within six feet of others. Please do not attend if you are sick or believe you have been exposed to the virus.
