Spring Ephemerals Hike

Join our Director of Conservation Drew Shuster to learn the features and functions of spring ephemeral wildflowers. Walk the Center’s old growth forest and discover these unforgettable forest floor flowers that too often go unnoticed by most. You’ll learn when and where plants appear, the purpose of their petals, and the significance of plants to the ecosystem. In this workshop you’ll gain knowledge and materials to help you find, identify, and understand these beautiful and unique spring sights.
