In this Spiritual World of Nature program, we’ll focus our attention on the trees of Schlitz Audubon, seeking to open, expand, and deepen our human awareness to reach out to the consciousness of nature, particularly trees.
Our guides are Don Quintenz, Senior Ecologist at Schlitz Audubon, and Ron Moor, teacher of spirituality and Center volunteer. We begin in the auditorium, preparing ourselves for a journey into the sanctuary of the trees. Then, we’ll go for a hike to explore more deeply our relationship with these sentient beings who bring so much and with whom we share our earthly home. After a time in the woods, we’ll return to process, to share, and to marvel. Dress appropriately for the weather.
This program will take place both indoors and outdoors. We will practice social distancing when we are able to, but because of the nature of small-group programming, it will not always be possible. For the health and safety of all, participants must wear a mask when you are within six feet of others. Please do not attend if you are sick or believe you have been exposed to the virus.
