Learn the fundamentals of identifying Wisconsin birds of prey! Lead by Raptor Educator, Ian Dorney, the first half of this workshop will offer an interactive exploration of birding principles and field identification skills. These activities will build your ability to quickly notice patterns and variations across groups of Wisconsin raptors. After a short recess, you can expect a faster-paced overview of field characters that are useful for identifying a bird down to its species. Mixed media will be supplemented by visits from birds in our Raptor Program!
