Meet one or two live predator(s) and learn about its contribution to the natural community. Hike a camouflage trail filled with critters’ hidden artifacts and discover their adaptations for hiding. Climb the 60-foot tower for a hawk’s view of some prey animals hidden beneath. Study some animal skulls of predators and prey. What is a predator’s success story? What are the adaptations that predators use to catch their prey? Learn how each animal is adapted to fit into its environment.
This program is intended for children ages 5-7, however siblings are welcome to attend.
This program will take place entirely outdoors. We will practice social distancing when we are able to, but because of the nature of small-group programming, it will not always be possible. For the health and safety of all, participants must wear a mask when you are within six feet of others. Please do not attend if you are sick or believe you have been exposed to the virus.
