Owls: Designed for Darkness at South Milwaukee Public Library
Tuesday, July 26, 2022 | 10:00 am - 11:00 am
These seldom seen, silent winged hunters shine best when the sun goes down. Our feathered raptor staff model their special night hunting adaptations and some basic owl behaviors providing insights into their natural history. Wisconsin is home to a variety of native owls, each with its own special adaptations.
Resident owls from our Raptor Program will engage your audience as they see firsthand the power of these amazing birds. Pellet dissection also offered for an enhanced learning experience!
Free to all.
