Kayaking in a remote wetland is a wonderful way to get close to wildlife. Experience wetlands from a new perspective as we search for birds and enjoy the scenery.
Join Senior Ecologist Don Quintenz for a leisurely paddle down the Oconomowoc River to the beautiful Loew Lake! This trip is intended for kayaks, canoes are not permitted. Each participant must bring their own kayak.
You will need to provide your own transportation to and from the launch point. Please bring your own lunch, snacks, and water. Further details and directions will be emailed to registered participants prior to the trip.
This program will take place entirely outdoors. We will practice social distancing when we are able to, but because of the nature of small-group programming, it will not always be possible. For the health and safety of all, participants must wear a mask when you are within six feet of others. Please do not attend if you are sick or believe you have been exposed to the virus.
