All plants and animals live in neighborhoods, just like you! Their neighborhoods are called “habitats.” On this adventure, we will use our nature detective skills to learn what makes forests, ponds, and prairies unique habitats for animals to live in. In each habitat, we will search for everything plants and animals need to survive. We will also meet an animal ambassador that would call one of these neighborhoods home!
This program is designed for children 5 to 9 years old.
This program will take place entirely outdoors. We will practice social distancing when we are able to, but because of the nature of small-group programming, it will not always be possible. For the health and safety of all, participants must wear a mask when you are within six feet of others. Please do not attend if you are sick or believe you have been exposed to the virus.
