Nature School Art Studio: Earth Day Maker Space

Saturday, April 12, 2025 | 9:30 am - 11:30 am

$20.00 – $25.00

,

Explore the natural world through art! Students can explore, experiment and take artistic risks to discover their own individual approach to artmaking. April’s class will focus on creative use of recycled materials. Materials and tools will be provided, and teachers will demonstrate multiple ways they can be used. Cardboard, paper, newsprint, bottle caps, and other various materials are just the start of the fun offerings. The possibilities are as endless as your child’s imagination!

Hosted by the Nature School’s 2024/2025 Artist in Residence Abbey Finn, this series of programs offers Process Art experiences for children 3-6. Process Art allow children to focus on the process of making art, rather than the finished product. It’s an open-ended, unstructured, and self-motivated way for children to explore materials, techniques, and self-expression. The Gardens Outdoor Classroom will serve as our Art Studio with various stations for exploration of materials and processes.

This is a drop-off program designed for children ages 3-6.

Members: $20 per child | Non-members: $25 per child
