Nature Inspired Art: The Art of John James Audubon

This art and nature program will focus on the art of John James Audubon. Audubon is known as an ornithologist, naturalist, and for his studies and detailed illustrations of North American birds. We will learn about his life and view pictures of his artwork. There will be a brief lesson in sketching birds and then we will try our hand at sketching with the help of the many bird mounts that the center has in its collection. We will end our program with a short birding hike.
