Nature Inspired Art: Prairies and Childe Hassem

This seasonal art and nature program will focus on prairies and chalk pastels. Late summer is an excellent time to walk through the prairie to learn about this beautiful habitat. We will look at the pastel work Poppies, Isles of Shoals by Childe Hassem. Using this artwork and our knowledge of the prairie as inspiration, we will create our own pastel artwork.

Each participant will make their own art piece. This program is designed for families with children aged 10 and older. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

This program will take place entirely outdoors. Please read our current mask policy before participation.
