This class offers classical Buddhist meditation, including the development of mindfulness. Several traditional meditation methods will be presented for the development of mindfulness, the identification and release of stress, and the practice of loving kindness. Important points of traditional Buddhist teaching will be covered, including the Four Noble Truths, the Seven Factors of Awakening, and much more. The class will be led by Jim Bayer, who has taught Taijiquan and meditation throughout southeastern Wisconsin for over 20 years.
This is one session in a series of six (January 19-March 29). Participants are welcome to join all or any sessions. Fees and registration are for an individual session.
