Saturday, January 6, 2024 | 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

$17.00 – $23.00

,

This season’s guided hike, led by naturalist Melanie Ziolecki, will follow the pages of Winter World by Bernd Heinrich. In this book, we learn how the animal kingdom relies on some astounding evolutionary adaptations to survive winter. As we explore Schlitz Audubon, the selected pages and words of Heinrich will lead our discussion of the readings. Copies of Winter World are available to purchase in the Nature Store.

In case of inclement weather, a portion of the program will be indoors.

Members: $17 | Non-Members: $23
