Literary Hike: Winter World by Bernd Heinrich

This season’s guided hike, led by naturalist Aubrey Fulsaas, will follow the pages of Winter World: The Ingenuity of Animal Survival by Bernd Heinrich. In this book, we learn how the animal kingdom relies on some staggering evolutionary innovations to survive winter. Participants will listen to selected passages, and we’ll discuss the readings as we explore Schlitz Audubon through the words of Heinrich. Copies of Winter World are available to purchase in the Nature Store. 

This program will take place outdoors. 

Members: $15 per person | Non-members: $20 per person
