Our Junior Elementary Homeschool Program is an introductory experience for children ages 6-8. With the guidance of experienced naturalists, we begin to work in groups to discover nature at the Center. Students form connections with the creatures and habitats that make-up Southeastern Wisconsin.

March 10, 2022 | Maple Sugar Time

What makes Sugar Maple sap spectacular for syrup? We will investigate various tree species and all of the ways these trees impact our lives, from paper to houses to sugar!

April 14, 2022 | Nature’s Neighborhoods in Spring

What’s happening in the habitats in Spring? Students will visit the three unique neighborhoods one last time to discover what the plants and animals are doing.

May 12, 2022 | Crow Crew

Who’s the smartest bird in your neighborhood? Learn about what makes crows a beak above the rest. This program includes a visit from our very own Corvid: Loki, the American Crow.

REGISTRATION DETAILS

A completed student profile, which includes a health history and emergency care plan, is required for each participant prior to registration. We require a new student profile prior to each school year.
