iPhone Nature Photography Workshop
Sunday, August 7, 2022 | 10:00 am - 12:30 pm
$25.00 – $30.00Adults, Art, Wheelchair Accessible
In this hands-on workshop, discover what your iPhone camera app can do! We’ll walk through all the functions of the iPhone camera. Then, after an introduction to some photography fundamentals, we’ll go outside to put that learning into practice. Explore the summer landscape to collect a few images, then come back indoors to learn the editing options within the iPhone photo app. We’ll briefly discuss nature identification apps to help you ID what you’ve photographed.
Instructor Terri Hart-Ellis is a nature and macro photographer who has taught workshops at the OSHER Lifelong Learning Institute at UWM. She has shown and sold her award-winning work throughout Wisconsin and beyond, including iPhone and DSLR images. When she is not making images, Terri is a Wisconsin Master Naturalist and volunteer Nature Ambassador at Schlitz Audubon.
This workshop is appropriate for a variety of skill levels. Please dress for the weather and bring your fully charged iPhone as you will experiment with it during class. Please note that since versions of iPhones vary, your functions may be slightly different from the instructor’s.
This program will take place indoors and outdoors. Please read our current mask policy before participation.
