Incredible Insects and Friends
Wednesday, July 21, 2021 | 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm
$10.00 – $15.00Do you love hunting for bugs? Join Naturalist Aubrey Fulsaas and explore the insects and invertebrate relatives that might be hiding at Schlitz Audubon! After learning what makes insects unique and important, use techniques from our citizen science projects and count the different species we find. We’ll flip logs in the forest, scoop with strainers in the pond, and sweep nets in the prairie in search of these crawling critters.
This program is designed for children ages 5 and older.
This program will take place entirely outdoors. We will practice social distancing when we are able to, but because of the nature of small-group programming, it will not always be possible. For the health and safety of all, participants must wear a mask when you are within six feet of others. Please do not attend if you are sick or believe you have been exposed to the virus. See our latest COVID-19 updates here.
Members: $10 per person | Non-members: $15 per person
