Holy Hill Fall Colors Field Trip
Tuesday, October 19, 2021 | 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
$45.00 – $60.00Adults, Field Trips, Guided Hikes
Join Senior Ecologist Don Quintenz to hike one of the most beautiful areas in southern Wisconsin during peak fall colors. Perched atop a giant glacial mound, Holy Hill offers breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. The dominant sugar maple trees are well known for their striking red, orange, and yellow, complemented by many other tree species. We will explore this beautiful landscape, including plants and animals that inhabit the forest, walking several miles on trails that ascend and descend steep hills.
The field trip begins and ends at Holy Hill. In order to maintain social distancing, you will need to provide your own transportation to and from Holy Hill. Please bring your own lunch and water. Further details and directions will be emailed to registered participants prior to the trip.
This program will take place outdoors. Please read our current mask policy before participation.
