Harrington Beach State Park, located in Belgium, WI is a beautiful local gem along Lake Michigan that is sometimes overlooked. It should not be! Showcasing a 26-acre quarry lake and over one mile of beautiful shoreline, it is a popular spot for people looking to enjoy the stunning views. It also has a unique history as a small community of quarry workers from 1900-1925.
Join Director of Education Tom Finley as we visit the Lake Michigan shore to observe dolomite rocks, hike the mile path around the quarry lake, and traverse the upland fields. Expect to hike several miles over undulating terrain and be rewarded with fresh clean air and stunning vistas.
