March is the month of Maple. We’ll learn about the inner workings of the trees from root to budding branch, and discover how we get from the tree to Grade A Amber Rich Maple Syrup. We’ll learn about the members of the Maple family, how to tell them apart, which are best for syrup production, and why. We’ll discuss what makes this place in the world and this time of year so unique and discuss the cultural significance of maple sugaring throughout time and across the globe.
This program will take place entirely outdoors. Please read our current mask policy before participation.
