Welcome to Friday Footsteps, a program similar to Hand-in-Hand but for children ages four-to-six to enjoy alongside an adult. Enjoy an afternoon together, playing and exploring in the great outdoors. Each program will include time in one of our outdoor classrooms, a visit with a live animal, and a hike to one of our fabulous Nature Center destinations. This class will take place entirely outdoors, rain or shine, except in the case of thunder of lightning. Waterproof, weather-appropriate gear is essential.
We require a one-to-one adult to child ratio. When you arrive at the Center, please check in at the front desk where you will be directed to your Outdoor Classroom.
Classes will take place outside. We will practice social distancing among adults when we are able to, but because of the nature of small-group programming, it will not always be possible. We will not practice social distancing among the children, as we want them to have the opportunity to play together. For the health and safety of all, adults and children must wear a facemask during this program. Please do not attend if you are sick or believe you have been exposed to the virus.
