Field Days is an outdoors seasonal series hosted by our Naturalists, intended for students enrolled in K5-1st grade. Join us to experience the beauty and wonder of Winter. What mammals, besides us, are active through the big freeze? Which birds stay the winter with us? Is there anything moving in the pond below the ice? We will explore each habitat looking for signs of life and activity. Our studies will be based on popular school field trip programs including Winter Wanderings and Winter Sensory with emphasis being placed on sensory exploration and each student’s questions and curiosities.
No two field days will be alike, so sign up for one or multiple sessions and experience the wonder of winter with our naturalists! (Please only select one session per day.)
Members: $25 | Non-members $35
A completed student profile is required for each participant prior to registration. The student profile provides us with important emergency contact and medical information, as well as an acknowledgement of our safety guidelines. The student profile only needs to be filled out once for any programming during the 2020/2021 school year.
We also encourage parents to read our Winter Programming FAQ to learn how our staff will be ensuring that kids stay warm and safe in the frigid winter weather.
A maximum of 15 students will be enrolled in each Field Days age group.
