After winter when the snow and ice has melted and the sun starts to warm up the earth our forest floor comes alive with beautiful wildflowers. While most Wisconsin flowers wait for warmer days to bloom, these species have their own ways of surviving and thriving in this harsh time.
Join us to discover what makes these plants special by doing a flower dissection and using petals and leaves to identify the wildflowers in our woods. After our hike we’ll make a flower of our own to take home.
