Family Birding by the Beach

Join Naturalist Harry Franz on a guided hike to search for birds near Lake Michigan. Learn how to use binoculars to observe birds in their various habitats, then identify different species by how they look and sound. Afterwards, we will hike along the shoreline to see the various birds that live by the beach. 

This program is designed for children aged 5 and older; children must be accompanied by an adult. This program will take place entirely outdoors. In the case of inclement weather, a portion of the program will be done indoors.
