Ephemeral Art: Birds!
Thursday, September 17, 2020 | 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
$10 – $15Have you ever looked closely at the artistic patterns of plants and critters? Meet our animal ambassadors, and join our human educators in a hands-on experience of ephemeral, or temporary, patterns of life in Wisconsin. Our hike will take us through several different natural communities, allowing us to gather inspiration from multiple plants and animals. Along the way, we will collect fallen leaves, sticks, and other natural items. When we return, we will create our own ephemeral nature artwork, inspired by the things we’ve seen!
This program is intended for families with children aged 7 and up and will take place entirely outdoors. We will practice social distancing when we are able to, but because of the nature of small-group programming, it will not always be possible. For the health and safety of all, participants must wear a mask when you are within six feet of others. Please do not attend if you are sick or believe you have been exposed to the virus. See our latest COVID-19 updates here.
Members: $10 | Non-members: $15
