Earth Day Work Day

Saturday, April 25, 2020 | 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free
Families, Citizen Science, Free with Membership

This event has been canceled due to COVID-19.

Help us honor and celebrate the 50th anniversary of Earth Day!  Spend the morning working with Naturalists on projects to improve the land, shoreline, and wetlands at Schlitz Audubon. We will collect litter from the shoreline, record what we remove, and be Citizen Scientists for the Great Lakes. We’ll also remove the invasive Chinese Mystery Snails from Mystery Lake by land or CANOE!  Learn more about our other ongoing Citizen Science projects and how you can get involved.

Our work session will run from 10:00am-12:00pm. Pack a lunch and stay afterward for a chance to meet a feathered ambassador from the Raptor Program, and learn how birds and humans can work together towards conservation success.

Free to all. Registration required.
