Earth Day: Spreading Seeds

Sunday, April 21, 2024 | 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

$12.00 – $18.00

, ,

Create your own native garden at home with the help of seed bombs! Join Family Programs Manager Cassie Rincon and learn about Wisconsin native plants and how they play a vital role in our local ecosystem. Take a short hike to find emerging spring ephemeral flowers and learn how to identify them. After the hike each participant will create assorted seed bombs to take home and launch in their own backyards.

This program is designed for children aged 4 and older; children must be accompanied by an adult. This program will take place entirely outdoors. In the case of inclement weather, a portion of the program will be done indoors.

Members: $12 per person | Non-members: $18 per person
