Creating Art with Ash

Tuesday, September 29, 2020 | 10:00 am - 11:30 am

$10 – $15
Families, Guided Hikes

Join naturalists to create your own art pieces from ash tree cuts from Center trees felled by the invasive Emerald Ash Borer. We will also hike through the forests to learn more about the importance of trees in the forests and how invasive species affect habitats. Art supplies will be provided.

We are planning for this program to take place entirely outdoors. We will practice social distancing when we are able to, but because of the nature of small-group programming, it will not always be possible. For the health and safety of all, participants must wear a mask when you are within six feet of others. Participants will not be touching animals. Please do not attend if you are sick or believe you have been exposed to the virus. See our latest COVID-19 updates here.

Members: $10 | Non-members: $15
