Discover the core principles of Tai Chi through Animal Forms. This eight-week series will explore the Crane form and Bear form. Tai Chi is practiced for relaxation, balance, strength and flexibility. This practical method integrates body, mind, and spirit in a challenging yet gentle way. Students will learn through movements designed to open the joints and the mindfulness training of Tai Chi style. This course is intended for continuing students who have taken this class before. Wear comfortable shoes and clothing and dress for the weather.
KT Rusch is a certified teacher from the Tai Chi Center of Milwaukee, where she has studied and practiced for over 20 years. Her classes are known for a personal touch, a sense of humor, and a very special Tibetan Singing Bowl Meditation that closes each class.
This program will take place entirely outdoors, weather permitting. (If inclement weather necessitates that we be indoors, we will space out inside the auditorium.) We will practice social distancing when we are able to, but because of the nature of small-group programming, it will not always be possible. For the health and safety of all, participants must wear a mask when you are within six feet of others. Please do not attend if you are sick or believe you have been exposed to the virus. See our latest COVID-19 updates here.
Fees are for an eight-week session.
