Comet ZTF Viewing

Thursday, February 9, 2023 | 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

,

Due to the weather forecast, we are rescheduling this viewing for Friday, February 10.

The dark skies of winter hold a mysterious visitor in February – Comet ZTF. If sky conditions allow, join us for a telescopic view of this distant periodic comet with your hosts Jacob Kempinski and Jim Hahn. The comet only visits from its home in the Oort cloud once every 50,000 years! Please bring binoculars if you wish.

Dress for conditions as this is an all-outdoor program. We’ll meet at the front walkway.

Free to members. Registration not required.
