With the infestation of Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) sweeping through our 185 acres of land, our conservation team needs help collecting additional and more accurate data on the property. With the use of a Smart device, GEODE (sub-meter GPS) and DBH tape, citizen scientists will go out into the field collecting and inventorying trees.
Before going out into the field, participants will be familiarized with ArcCollector, basic tree identification, and measuring techniques. Strong tree identification skills are desired but not necessary.
