Citizen Science A La Carte

Join us for a day of science and nature exploration as we collect data for many of the Center’s citizen science research projects! You and your family can try tagging monarch butterflies, identifying aquatic animals, tracking birds around the property, and monitoring the health of Lake Michigan. All of the data that is collected on this day will be used by our conservation department.

This program is designed for children aged 5 and older. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

When registering for this program, a family unit is a group living in the same household, with a maximum of 5 people per unit.

Each unit will receive a citizen science packet, including a map of the project locations, in the main building day of the program.

Family units can arrive anytime from the start of the program to one hour before the program ends.

This program will take place both indoors and outdoors. Please read our current mask policy before participation.

Members: $30 per family | Non-members: $45 per family
