Bird Song Workshop
Sunday, May 4, 2025 | 9:00 am - 11:00 am
$23.00 – $34.00Spring brings an abundance of bird activity to the Center with winter birds departing and summer residents returning. They fill the skies, forests, and fields and with so many species signing, it can be tricky to tell them apart. In this workshop, you will participate in a presentation designed to help you recognize some of Wisconsin’s common and unique birdsongs. Afterwards, practice your skills in the field on a guided hike.
Environmental Educators and avid birders Laine Cotteleer and Aubrey Fulsaas will share their own tips, tricks, and pneumonic devices to help you identify spring birds. By the end of this workshop, you will be able to identify the songs of many backyard bird species and migrants.
This workshop will take place both indoors and outdoors.
Members: $23 | Non-members: $34
