Sunday, July 24, 2022 | 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm

$25.00 – $30.00

, , ,

This workshop will begin with a classroom presentation, then we’ll go out and take photos,  returning to the classroom for a wrap up. In class, we’ll cover exposure, camera modes, focusing options, and the best starting settings for your bird photography.

Instructor Kevin Hanley is a nature and macro photographer who has taught workshops at the Milwaukee Zoo, Mitchell Park Domes, Olbrich Gardens, and the Nicholas Conservatory. Kevin does stock photography and has sold images in Wisconsin and worldwide. He has an extensive background in reptiles and insects and is a Wisconsin Master Naturalist Instructor who volunteers at various nature centers.

This workshop will be helpful for all levels of photographers.  Some technical info will be more appropriate for the DSLR and Mirrorless photographers. Cell phone photographers will benefit from composition and other tips to help them shoot better images.

This program will take place indoors and outdoors. Please read our current mask policy before participation.

Members: $25 | Non-members: $30
