Star clusters abound in our galaxy, but why? Jim Hahn will teach us about their origins, types, and evolution. While it’s getting dark, we’ll have a presentation indoors. Then we’ll move outdoors to view some star clusters through telescopes and learn how to find them in the sky. As a bonus, Jupiter and Saturn will be visible. Bring binoculars, a jacket, and mosquito repellent.
Jim Hahn is a lifelong astronomy enthusiast who got his first telescope and learned the constellations at the age of 7. He built his own telescope at age 15 and still uses it today.
