Astronomy: Jupiter-Saturn Conjunction
Monday, December 21, 2020 | 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Free – $10Join us for this rare astronomical viewing. Jupiter and Saturn will be as close to each other as they will get for the next 60 years! Both planets will be seen together in the same high-power telescope field. Jim Hahn will have telescopes set up with extra safety precautions in place. Participants are welcome to bring their own telescopes or binoculars.
This program will take place entirely outdoors. We will practice social distancing when we are able to, but because of the nature of small-group programming, it will not always be possible. For the health and safety of all, participants must wear a mask when you are within six feet of others. Please do not attend if you are sick or believe you have been exposed to the virus. See our latest COVID-19 updates here.
